What does Sports Card Value Scanner do?
Sports Card Value Scanner tells you what a sports card is and roughly what it's worth from a single photo. Point your camera at the front of a card, or pick a photo from your gallery, and the app identifies it in seconds.
- Card details: the card's name, year and set, plus Card Information such as the sport, series and card number.
- Value: a reference price range and estimated eBay values, so you have a starting point before you check sold listings.
- Rarity: a rarity score out of 10, from Common to Ultra Rare, with a short verdict.
- Collection: save cards to My Collection to see their total value, card count and player count, search them, and export the list of scanned cards to a file.
- On Android: the latest update adds collection stats, a multi-select mode and bulk CSV export.
Which devices does it work on?
It runs on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch with iOS 15.1 or later, on Macs with an Apple M1 chip or later (macOS 12 or later), on Apple Vision, and on Android phones through Google Play. On the App Store it's listed as “Sports card scanner no ads” in the Reference category, rated 4+.

What doesn't the app do?
Sports Card Value Scanner doesn't grade, authenticate, buy or sell cards. Its values are estimates to help you decide which cards deserve a closer look, not offers or appraisals.
- No grading. Official grades come from companies such as PSA, BGS and SGC. Our PSA grading scale guide explains how grading works.
- No authentication. A scan shows which card a photo matches, not whether the card is genuine. See how to tell if a sports card is fake.
- No marketplace. To sell, compare the options in where to sell sports cards.
- Sports cards only. It isn't built for Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering or other trading card games.
